The Supreme African Sound

Yves Tshimanga Productions in collaboration with Tabilulu Productions, Coco African Prince, CAUSE & Restaurant South Beach Cafe are proud to sponsor the "Supreme African Sound", which will take place at the ELG House of Joy in the Bronx on June 07, 2008.
The Supreme African Sound seeks to discover the most danceable African music judged by how full and energized the dance floor is. The outcome of the competition is determined by guest judges who will critique the crowd, the energy and happiness on the dance floor. This year judges will be Fally Ipupa, Shiko Mawatu, Papa Shee and Kaysha.
Is it the Congolese music, which has made all Africa dance for a long time or is it the Ivory Coast music with its dance Coupe Decale or is it a totally different African country: Cameroon, Cape Verde, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Togo...? Who will be crowned the "Supreme African Sound"?
Show the judges what your country's got. Come June 07, 2008. Party will start at 10PM - Until....A day of fun, music and lots of Dance.
We will play music from all over Africa including Cameroon, both Congo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa and more....

TO ALL:
I am an American, but spent many years living in The Congo. I love the music of The Congo, and think it perfectly captures the spirit of Africa. I hope The Congolese sound is victorious, because I keep hearing that the Ivory Coast is getting bigger and better.

I cant wait to show the judges that Congo Music is the best hahaha!!! See you all there!!!

The Supreme African Sound, commend these brothers for putting together a GREAT EVENT! Who will win? Who has the hottest dance steps? Who is going to bring the most energy? Whats most important is that we all come together for a night of peace and love! I'm Haitian and my people cut holes in the dance floor, watch ya step. June 7th will be a fun night of music and dance, be there or be square!

Wow! What a great time to use my newly found Congolese Dance skills. I guess all of that practice will pay off on this night. I can't wait to go and immerse myself in one of my favorite music genres of all time!
Thank you!

You think dancing is easy and only for Africans? Think again folks, I will show you what a white dude from Chicago can do with an African sound and a beautiful African lady on that dancefloor. I am coming to you NYC, see you on the 7th of June. I love African music!
